In 2007 my daughter attended Parkwood Green Primary School. First term was fine. She made friends but the first week of 2nd term every thing went pear shaped when one child in her class, lets call her "Amy", decided to bully my daughter. Not just verbal bullying but full on bleeding scratches, bruises, red marks aroung her neck kind of bullying. We were new at the school so the first time it happened I let it pass, not wanting to rock the boat. The second time it happened, my daughter ended up with a large bruise over her kidney and had difficulty voiding with kidney pain etc for 2 days. I showed the class teacher the bruise and told her the story of how it had happened. The teacher got back to me 2 days later and told me that "Amy" wasn't responsible because " Amy" said she didn't do it. Oh, and sorry but we dont know how my daughter received the bruise. Maybe she fell!! There were three witnesses but because when "Amy" picked up the rock that eventually hit my kid, the witnesses all turned and ran and never actually SAW "Amy" throw the rock, then "Amy" must be innocent. Another FIVE episodes of physical bullying, another five reports that were shrugged off and the principal wont see me, "Amy's" mother is now verbally abusing me in the playground because I tell her brat to stay away from my kid and the only thing that the class teacher can offer is to put the 2 kids in different classes next year. 6 months away... We are now at another school. The class teacher should be ashamed of herself and the principal is blind to the crap that goes on in the school. DONT SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE.
